Well, at least I know how to sing Simarik in Turkish...but how does the Turkish alphabet work? I know that there's direct translations and hard and soft letters...(I think I should buy a Turkish language textbook to get the most out of this opportunity first).

i asume that whas uygur language only understood the last part "siz kaç yasindasiniz?"

Turkish letter - how they should pronounced

a = a
b = bè
c = dj example djihat
ç = chè
d = dè
e = è on french
f = fè
g = sounds like the first g of garage
ğ = gh (but we dont speak it out)
h = hash
i = sounds like the i of skirmish but with a higher sound value
ı = sounds like the y kyrgyzistan
j = souns like the second "g" of garage
k = Qè
L = Lè
m = mè
n = nè
o = o
ö = german ö
p = pè
r = rè
s = sè
ş = shè
t = tè
u = "ou"
ü = german ü
v = vè
y = the "y" as in english "yes"
z = zè

Note: the pronouncing of the words doesnt change like it changes in english for example "vacation" the "c" transforms into "q" the "t" with "ion" after it transforms to "sh", you dont have this in Turkish you say what you read, you read what you say and there is no difference also we havent "female or male" words female and male are equall in Turkish

Türkchide Uyghurchidek q herpi bolmaydiken. Qara dégenni kara deydu, shundaqmu? "mi" qoshumchisi Uyghurchidiki "mu"gha ohshaydiken.
