I'm well aware of the "Greek Fire" and siphoning hoses in the West used by the Byzantines during the 600s or 700s AD, but I've read in several places of the Chinese enhancing this sometime afterward with a more impressive design. If someone has any info, I'd be glad if you could post it, as I remember somewhere there was a description of an ancient Chinese flamethrower that held two chambers, or two acting bellows, that was able to shoot a continuous blast of fire while precariously mounted on top of naval ships or when mounted atop of wheeled siege vehicles. Pretty scary stuff (ouch, that would suck to burn alive. lol). And if someone could get a date on that, or if not a date, an approximate century of when those were first innovated by the Chinese, that would be helpful too.

Thanks,
Eric

PM me for my Skype, I removed it from the public's view.

I research stuff I like, I enjoy it as a hobby but one day I plan to get a master's degree in something I enjoy a lot.
