Amazon should be carrying the book by mid October'06 or so. My distributor in the US will get it into Amazon for me.How about asking Amazon if they wish to sell the book?

The rates quoted are Airmail rates so delivery to Europe should be no longer than 1 week max.
I can ship via surface mail which would be a lot cheaper but they you'll probably have to wait something like 4 weeks to get the book. Only makes sense if you are in no hurry to get the book and/or you are ordering in bulk.
You want to help distribute books where you live? Do you know any bookstore keeper or Castle-giftshop owner or belong to a wargaming/historical society/club and need more than just a couple of books? I can offer slightly better rates for bulk orders and you can then sell them at the full price and earn the difference. Distributor discounts are from 30% to 40% (for bulk orders of 200 copies and above).
Anyone else want a copy?
Will get an autographed copy, with the cute stamp and all, from you on the 19th at the ACM?

I seriously doubt the printer can meet the 15th August dateline now. Ur is suggesting a mini book soft launch on the 2nd Sept during the BBQ. Hehehe.
I'll autograph and stamp books then.
Ok, that will be fine... 2nd Sept the book launch date....

Ah... that's why you need to read my book! kekekekeWhoops, my bad!
What does 砲 mean, anyway?
It's the original spelling of Pao with the stone radical (when they were still stone catapults). The new Pao with the fire radical only came about with gunpowder cannons.
Chinese chess sets are supposed (and I stressed the word "supposed") to show this distinction but modern chess sets have now forgotten this and almost all use the modern fire-radical pao.
