Yup they no longer do. Sad ain't it that we've forgotten. I'm still trying to find a chess set that does. That will be the set I buy.

Could check it out for you when I go over to Chengdu this October. Promise will lug it around even if it weighs a ton. :D

Cool! But I want a simple set, nothing fancy, and something that looks nice and traditional too. :D :clapping:

Yeah... like old fashioned... umm. No strike that out... I might be detained for trafficking antiques. No worries, will keep a look out.. it should be in China, or alternatively coming in from Taiwan.

Hehehe better let me find it on my own. I'm picky where stuff like that is concerned. Might just end up carving my own set. :P

Centaur, wondering if Chengdu would have any tea sets? :P

I have a collection (ok, ok, do 3 sets count? :arrogant^: ) and would love to add on to it! :D

If you could haul a small one back, do let me know ok? ;)

Quality isn't Job One. Being totally effing amazing is Job One.

No problems, if I see one, I'll get it... incidentally, the best should come from Suzhou. I bought a mug back from there, during my trip to Shanghai. It's made from the special 'purple' clay. I thought I saw you have one set of the green ones. :D In any case, I will be on the look out

My uncle bought me the green one and it is indeed from China, though I'm not sure where.

Great stuff to share with your children and grandchildren, lots of pictures.

Very cool to be able to go "I know the guy".
"The total amount of undesired sex endured by women is probably greater in marriage than in prostitution."

"The man who says his wife can't take a joke, forgets that she took him." -Oscar Wilde

There's a way of transferring funds that is even faster than electronic banking. It's called marriage. (all relations to the image below is strictly coincidental)

Cool, you will love it. China is a great place to be... yes, forget about the crowd and the few ill mannered ones. The scenery and museums are great.

^As well as the cheap food :)

It's amazing, in some regions I could live my entire life with only my present amount of money(they give you more food than half the price of Mcdonalds, and enough to feed 4 people). A life without a place to live, but I won't be starving :) <presently I have like 1000 American dollars, which isn't much for a college freshman). But I do have to say that most of the restaurants don't look very clean, so a bad immune system+eating at an unclean restaurant = puking all over.
