News Flash: a fresh new flood is coming the way of the CHF. Inhabitants are being warned of the impending flood and are asked to make the necessary perparations to face this Red stamp flood. :D

Right, I will ask for one too...

Jieming, could you make a

弗朗
素瓦

with this character disposition (left to right, and top to bottom)? such a special name deserves a special character order, I believe!

弗朗素瓦 夏爾東 (yes, PRC business-style sinification of foreign names are that bad!)

(after that, if you want to cut your teeth on 8 character seals, such as my current one, you may try 弗朗素瓦 夏爾東印, and my "real stamp" would probably be either 夏東 or 夏芳芳, but these are a bit too common...)

Here's my offer to anyone else here.

If you'd like a red Chinese seal in 100x100 pixel 300dpi (jpg or gif) format, I'll make one for you FOC, in traditional seal script (where possible), in either "White Characters, Red Background" or reversed, "Red Characters & Border, White Background".

Two ways.

1. give me your name in Chinese characters and I'll render it into Chinese Seal Script for you (provided your characters have a Seal Script equivalent)

Samples of one made purely from scratch.

Posted Image Posted Image

2. send me a photo/scan of your stone chop/stamp and I'll touch it up (you can photograph the result or the base of the actual seal).

I do not have a name stamp yet, my calligraphy teacher charges approximately hundred over dollars for one name, but he said he only uses good stone (or marble? I cant recall). I said hold the thought first till I think my writing is excellent. Now I cannot even grade my writing as satisfactory.

So, LJM, p-l-e-a-s-e make one for me, I would love to post it up as my avatar or signature.

Done! I did it in reverse for you because the characters are a bit "simple" with too much white space so looks nicer in reverse.

I can do the 8 character one but you need to tell me the order you want it in.

Say, how are you at round-shaped chops, Liang Jieming? :D
I think that in some cases, that could rid some of the 'extra white space'.
