Say, how are you at round-shaped chops, Lian Jieming? :D
I think that in some cases, that could rid some of the 'extra white space'.

Ah... the question I was dreading. I haven't figured out a way to do round ones nicely yet so I charge extra for those.

tomorrow i am going to get the real stuff in chinatown right after work. its a good idea to stamp all my books with it, instead of signing and signing..

may i know whats the approximate current market rate like for an average stone or marble - in Sing dollars?

Price ranges from $30.00 to $100.00 (might even be more) all depending on the stones that you are looking at. The size and grade of the stone. Mine was slightly different, purchased the stone from Japan and had it carved here in Singapore. The cost of my seal including the stone was about $40.00 and that was about 15 years ago. Of course the guy who carved my seal insisted on charging me more, because, I did not get the stone from him and that the stone was rather small. :unsure:
