Ayoo Kiasu Kiasi Land... :P

Perhaps someone who had lived thru the Hock Lee Riots, the days of curfews during the May 13th Riots, the hard times where it was difficult to find a job, meal table with one solitary dish of pickles, the worry that the next meal might not come; Fifty dollars were the monthly wage, would appreciate being Kiasu and Kiasi. It had helped to change the landscape of Singapore - socially, economically and politically.

I agree that ISA should be revisited, but bear in mind, we are too small to weather too great an upheavel. We had worked our way towards what we are today. It would be difficult for us to throw it all away.

Off to aside, anyone watched the televised explanation by a lady lawyer (forgot her name) specialised in defamation cases, of what constitutes an opinion in Singapore? An opinion according to her as stated by Singapore law, is one where it must be based on the factual truth! :g: :o :icon15:
