Hi does anyone have any memories of their grandparents singing to them old chinese songs in their local chinese dialects(non-mandarin) ? There's this one Mao Tse Tung song..that my grandmother sung to me in Toisan Wah (Taishan Hua - a cantonese dialect of Taishan, Guangdong). The song i think is called The East Is Red...here's the song: http://www.youtube.c...E...ted&search= I love that song very much, even though i don't support communism. The way she sang it in toisan wah...was so patriotic and soft. I'm so proud to be Chinese =D
