What do you mean, you can't type in Hangeul?
Can't you install Korean IME on your Windows?

Having learned a little Korean, learning all the polite form of speech, honorifics etc, I think that as a Korean, you sound very blunt.

Can't you soften your speech a little? Why do you always sound so aggressive?
I am not refering to your post here but your post in general, especially those in the thread regarding Hanja.

I was being direct not aggressive.
You should have read some of other members posts about my comments.

Being direct is often equivalent and tantamount to being aggressive. It is just like speaking to a stranger without a 요. Sorry I shouldn't be telling you about the Korean language since you speak the language while I am still learning. I am just quoting this as an example.

May I know which member you are talking about? Me included?

Technically, I can type hangeul. I'm just not good at it.
I learned to type before I moved out of Korea but forgot as I had no reason to type in hangeul over the following years.
I do have the program on my computer, but it's pretty much wasted space, as 99% of the writing I do is in English.

I was just trying to do as the Korean would do. I thought it is the norm for Korean males to use the ㅂ니다 form of speech among strangers? Please correct me if I am wrong.

By the way if you happen to be a Korean, please teach me Korean.

yep, other than korea-manchuria area north china beijing-shanghai area is a source of migrations of people to japan even archeological evidence proves it and there's a possibility that japonic family also comes from there.

You might be referring to Samhan people of Korea.
It is known to be Samhan people of Korea and Wajin people of Japan shared identical archaeological items such as weapons, mirrors, utensils, crowns and jeweleries. Samhan people is also said to be originated from Beijing-Shangdong, particularly Ma-han tribes of Samhan.

There is a lot of debating about origins of japonic language, people and culture.
The strongest link is Samhan, it is said to be Jinhan and Byeonhan language is most similar to japonic language among all ancient East Asian languages.

If you go to Gyeonsang regions of Korea which is located at South East of Korean peninsula, their accents and dialects are most close to Japanese accents and dialects.

Gyeonsang slang or we called it Saturi (Korean word for slang) contains -nei, -so, -da, -ni, -na -ta etc.. endings on each words and sentence they speaks, this is why modern Korean language accent is similar to Japanese accent, because many modern Korean accents/dialects contains these endings.

Example:

This salt trader saying: In English "buy/selling salt"

In correct Korean, it sound lie "Sogum Sa-sae-yo"
In Gyeonsang saturi, it sound like "Sogom Sa-i-so", and buyer replies with "Songom sa-ri-da"

Even to Japanese ears, Gyeonsang saturi sound just like Japanese accent.
