Let me just make it clear that I am not against proselytism per se, nor am I claiming that Pat Robertson speaks for all Christians. I just have to wonder how tolerant those evangelicals flocking to China would be if the shoe were on the other foot ... and in practice, not in theory. Consider how Christian activists in India (yes, India, the majority Hindu and officially secular country) managed to get movies like the Da Vinci Code banned in parts of the country, while evangelical polemicists in India have published extremely inflammatory and insulting literature about Hinduism on more than one occasion. If they lived the tolerance they demand, they would at least be consistent. Of course, integrity is not a prerequisite for free expression from a legal point of view.
