I can not speak for GZ or the Han Lin Scholars who will be the ones to set the rules to become a Jinshi.Maybe getting to Jinshi one should write an article rather than taking an exame?
If you have the desire to write an article, I would be more then pleased if you submitted one to the Han Lin Journal

If the exam site crashes while you're taking the Juren exam, I'm afraid that you will not be able to take the exam until the site is restored. That means, if you're half-way through, you will need to re-start it again.
The data won't be lost even if server crashes, because I do regular backup and can restore the site even if the server crashes.

Well..at the moment, I haven't thought of allowing the re-taking of Juren exam. Will consider about it in the future.

I passed the test with a C(76%)! I feel extremely proud of myself. 
It was much more difficult the the Xiucai Exam.
GZ, there was a particular question that had a typo answer. Just thought I notify you.
