Nowadays, there are lot of hollywood film with chinese theme, in particular Kungfu.

The latest was an animation cartoon comedy based on "Panda" (a chinese animal in sichuan province)

I haven't watched the film, but heard that it's very funny

The trailer is at
http://www.kungfupanda.com/

Has anyone watch it?

Surprisingly entertaining.

I originally plan to watch Nanria, but after traveling to three different theater and fail to find an opening, I count the time wasted as sunken cost and move on to Kungfu Panda. I will admit, watching with a theater full of kids is annoying [Personally I don't think a 5 yr old would get most of the jokes] but it was worth my bucks. Its not a movie you would watch with your sign. other, but a good hangout movie with friends.

Well, I suppose it can't be worse than many Kung Fu or martial arts movies made in the West.

I'll probably give it a go.

I have heard from everyone who has seen it that it is good.

It's rather entertaining and funny. A good show to watch if you are feeling a little blue. :jump:

I have to say it was quite entertaining, especially the last major battle. :clapping:

I like this movie a lot. Specially when panda's master found on how to train him and its through food. Very entertaining and I will watch it again if I will have time. :)

Kungfu Panda is great, and recommended to watch I can say. It is entertaining, funny (typically Jacky Chan's movie :) :)) and most importantly there are many good philosophy can be learned through the movie.

Among those philosophies stated in the movie. the one that I like the most is about "special". At the latter part of the film, runnaway Panda met his father who then told his family noddle shop's recipe. He said "the secret is nothing". Here is the good part : It is you who make it special.

The Chinese have come out with an unofficial sequel to this film. It's called "Wong Fei Hung Vs. Kung Fu Panda". Bascially, Wong Fei Hung is charged by God to protect an ancient treasure that can give the power to conquer the world. He fails in the this mission and has to team up with Po (the panda) to retrieve the treasure from evil forces. Kind of weird, huh? Tsui Hark is the art director.

I don't know how good it's going to be, but I just bought the dvd for my niece and nephew. Have a look: http://sensasian.com...t.php/V17937H-D

Do tell me how it is like! i went to see another chinese page and the graphics look a bit different. The following is the synopsis in chinese.
