Wow!!!!!


Heh, all I was really doing was messing around in photoshop. I'm not even going to try drawing my own things in it... Yet. (I need to get a tablet, drawing with a mouse is like drawing with a brick of chalk, it's clumsy.)

I've also gotten a Chinese Brush Painting kit this Christmas, so I'm planning to learn that, and maybe I'll have some of those up eventually. (Digital artwork makes me happier though... I don't have to scan it, it's just there.)

Nice work. =)

I'd like to see more blending options for the text layers, as well as size and placement.
You can also create duplicates, and alter opacity applications for smooth detailing and other options. Since you are passionate, I am sure you will do well when exploring more options. =)

*dont forget to include proper cites for the artists of the original images and scenes used - it is an important part of image manipulation and artist rights*

This is very good work Aaron! I love the Samurai ones! The Russian one are well done also. I find them most interesting I suppose because half my family is Russian! :)

Now looking at this when it's not so late at night and comparing the two images (one in my sketchbook, and on the computer), there are some things the scan didn't pick up. But I'd say the scan did a good job. Also, you can really take note of how tired I was if you look at the date in the corner that got slightly cut off.... Feb 18th/09. Yeah, I did this picture in the future! :P
