The Mongols look nice, really. I thought they have narrow eyelids? They are essentially different from Chinese, definitely!

lol .... if the posted photos are true representation of Outer Mongolia's population then it's safe to assume Mongolians are replaced by non-Mongolic Central Asian Turkic peoples.This only means modern day northern Han-Chinese & Koreans are only direct lines of proto-Mongols.

We should be more careful about drawing a conclusion based on a collection of pictures from one or two people, however beautiful they are. Mongolians have been mixing with other peoples just like everyone else from other part of world. If one takes a look at of all the portraits of Yuan emperors, he would be likely to assert that all mongolians look a lot like Chinese. For me, I do not see the difference between those Yuan emperors and Northern Chinese. I believe more studies are needed to make any rational statement.

Just because we don't look Chinese doesn't mean that we are not Mongols. Not everybody has to look like Chinese or Korean. We are not East Asians we are Central Asians that's why we look different. First you have to learn Central Asia and its history then make a conclusion.
