Shi Xinning at the Saatchi Gallery

Has anybody heard of the artisit Shi Xinning, who is currently being exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in the Uk?

What do people think of these pictures? I must say i was rather grabbed by them, as a very original idea.

First time i heard about her! but that's because i am not a very artistic person :) The pictures are quite interesting though, makes Mao look very humane. Thanks a lot for posting the pictures Matt

It took me a few moments to notice the obvious error in the Yalta picture-shows how well the artist has blended Mao in...

haha for me it was easier because of the distinct moustache that i was accustomed to seeing on Chiang Kai Shek missing from the picture. But the pictures are really well drawn, its almost like it was taken on camera!

That's what also struck me, especially with the Yalta one.
