Of course, I would actually pay a fee for shipping, because its simply worth it.

I like the library idea, I've got quite a few good English language translations of the ol' classics which I'd share out.
My suggestion though is when opening a thread- posters should state what city & country they were based in. Then anyone else form the same area who would like to add their library should display them on the same thread as the others from their area.
I don't want to look at another thousand thread forum like the introduction forum.

WHy not donate books to CHF? And have CHF send it out to people who need it?
Of course, I would actually pay a fee for shipping, because its simply worth it.
We should have that as well, make CHF have it's own library but who would host it?
I would be willing to pay shipping to read a book as well.
I'd also be willing to donate some books.

There's a way of transferring funds that is even faster than electronic banking. It's called marriage. (all relations to the image below is strictly coincidental)

Ok, take this as part of my will - I will donate all my books, historicals or not; all my vcd/dvd collection, again historicals or not, to CHF library. I will instruct the executor of my will to ensure this happens.

The biggest online Chinese book library at http://www.ssreader.comQ: Do anyone possesses a vast library of e-books relating to ["Chinese History"]?
There are plenty of books on in the history section. They charge 100 yuan a year. I'm not advertising. I think it totally worth.
If we use p2p softwares like emule. We can transfer ebooks without violating any law, at least Chinese law. You make a seed and post it on the forum. others can download it when you are online.I think, we cannot scan and put those books online.. firstly, it would be too much work, secondly, it's a violation of copyrights.
