I watched a lot of screenshots and the new trailer recently and I must say it looks very good so far. Some has worried about the young actors involved but I donīt get the feeling they will be a problem. Time will tell.

Here is the trailer, the sound is unfortunately bad(dont be scared of the naruto picture, it soon dissapears):

And here are six big picture galleries for those who havenīt seen(plus a lot of text I cant read):

Not impressed. 16 years later and they could only come up with this. Tang dynasty architecture, mass use of chariots, marginally better battle scenes than the old one... :wallbash:
But at least I can console myself because the guy who played the first emperor in the movie The Emperor and the Assassin is in it.

Iīm blissfully ignorant when it comes to architecture and dont yet know a lot of chinese history but I thought the battlescenes and costumes looked far better than the old one (although I have not seen more than the first 15-20 episodes of it yet). What is hard to say about the battles in is how well they implement the strategies used into the new series, as far as I saw in the old one it was mostly just a lot of people running around ramndomly(one reason I stopped watching).

Looks like a TV series, from the site at sina.com.

I feel the old 1994 ROTK is more faithful to the novel than the new ROTK TV series.
