this fortunetelling point three-shi(三式,sorry,I don't know how to translate "式"):Qimendunjia,Liuren,Taiyi(奇门遁甲,六壬,太乙).
They are Reproduction in Yi(易),I hear that Qimendunjia may predict all,Liuren may predict personnel(人事,一个人的各种事,personnel也许不太准确) and Taiyi predict prospect of country.
I learned Qimendunjia a little last year,but I feel I can't understand it at all,so I gave up...
But I consider it is very miraculous,I have seen one people who is good at Qimendunjia predicted the other's things,it's very very accurate.

I'm a beginner in Qimendunjia, but I have been reading I-Ching for a while. I feel Qimendunjia might be too complex for a starter, so why not start with I-Ching. I don't mean I-Ching is simple, but it's just much easier for beginners to put your hands on. You just throw some coins and check out what the book said. When you are familliar with these ideas like, Yin, Yang, Five phases, Tiangan and Dizhi etc, you can move on to Qimendunjia. It will look much easier by then. The best book about I-Ching in the market I see now is 高岛易断. Yes, written by a Meiji time Japanese.
