I'm British to. I currently live in Essex (don't judge me! 
). Hoping to escape to London or Sheffield university next year!
I applied to Leeds harandaa but the course isn't quite what I wanted! I like the pub's name though... 'The Library'

There are some fine pubs in Leeds - sorry to hear that the uni here isn't offering what you wanted, but good luck with your applications! What kind of degree are you looking to pursue?
History but I specifically wanted to do Chinese history which Leeds are very good at. It was just very languge heavy and I've not studied a a language since Year 9 and Chinese is a hard language!

Thought I'd add my name to the roll call for us Blighty folks. Currently in the south-west, but hopefully moving up to Sheffield or Leeds next September for uni. Looks like they're still the places to be for Chinese Studies, outside of London and Oxbridge. Fingers crossed for Leeds though, definitely looks like the nicer uni.
