Their skin is really light so I'd say either northern Chinese or northern Vietnamese but the hair isn't jet black so I'd say northern Chinese. The thick eyebrows suggests Uyghur or Korean but Uyghurs living in the desert aren't so light skinned so I'd say Korean. But the fashion really makes them look Taiwanese or from Hong Kong but the scarfy fashion is most definitely Taiwanese. I'd say Japanese.

ok taiwanese, final answer, because of the scarf. But a lot of Taiwanese like to copy J-drama, so it could be Japanese. And I think the hairstyle is American.

I go with Korean in the first picture, Southern Chinese in the second picture.

p/s: Taiwanese is included in S. Chinese to me. Can't really tell them apart unless they're mixed with some minority or aborigines.

The two pics are the same people. Judging by the trees in the background I'd say either Hong Kong, Taiwan or N. Vietnam.

It's too hard to judge by their facial features, from the yellowish wall in the background in the second picture I'd say N. Vietnamese. lol

Guy with the long hair looks really Vietnamese too.

No particular reasons now, just the overall facial structure I guess that reminds me of some people I happen to see.

1) Vietnamese
2) Tibetan
3) Korean
4) Japanese

The first photo is easy, they're Korean girls from Korea's kpop group called Girl's Generation.
Second photo is hard one, I say Chinese possibly South Chinese or Vietnamese.
Third, wasn't he one of the Super Junior member? Han Geng? He's Nanai ethnic from China according to his bio.
The last photo, Chinese for sure.

I had figured you were a mix of Chinese types. Most 1.3 billion and more including overseas Chinese are despite having been born in one place and claim that area to be their birth heritage. Figured you for a southern but that you might even have some Manchu.

Thanks for the quick response, brother!
You are about 60% correct, I guess :-)

I've heard stories from my late father that his ancestor was coming from Fujian, but I am in fact 7th or maybe even 8th generation of Chinese from his side, because his family has a very long history, even before Opium War, already come to Indonesia, and some of them had more than 1 wife (a common practice at that time, I guess). Trouble is, we hardly know the fact about the woman's side, maybe due to a fact that the Chinese is quite "patriarchy"---they don't care much about the mother's side, so even my father don't know much about his mother's root. And me too, don't know much about my mother's root, beside a little story about her Cantonese family being only 2nd, or 3rd generation here. And that she (my mother) is a daughter from my grandfather's 2nd wife!

If you say that I may have southern root, that's I can say is true (from my mother's Cantonese root), but about the Manchu, I don't know :D --- maybe, I've read that the northern has long-shape nose like mine. Almost all family from my father's side has a long-shape nose, and smaller eyes, and long oval-shaped face, and average member of family from my mother's side has bigger eyes, with doubled eyelid, and beautiful brown colored eyes, but has typically southern wider face.

I said "maybe", because families from my father's side typically has darker skins (supposed to be lighter, said the literatures) than those from my mother's Cantonese family (which supposed to have darker skins, said the literatures).

Confuse? Welcome to my family!

:D
