So here it goes, I am sorry for any rules this might break, but I'm way to desperate for help. My name is Mizuki and in June I'm going to a convention and I'm wearing a dress similar to this (it's being made for me by a seamstress so I have no actual pictures, but this one is close in color and style) http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item3cac1ff6ad

With that being said, I need to address my hair and jewelry. Earrings, necklace, hair decorations, how to wear them, hair styles and how to do them any thing would be really helpful. Maybe were to buy hair thingies (my hair is brown and a bit past my chest, no bangs, but i'm willing to cut my hair, no wigs though) and jewelry that would match this dress and oh purses too even shoes! I've look quite a bit, but most are the modern "stripper" heel types and i'm not really interested. Thank you everyone for the help I really need it (as well as fashion advise).

I think a good pair of soft-fabric, closed, flat shoes should be fine (e.g. http://www.bitablue....7d73fb2ad9cb5a1 ).

Since you seem to have shorter hair than necessary for a Han style ponytail, you could tie what you have together at the end and attach a length of artificial hair to complete it. Or you could do it up with hair sticks.

I don't think a purse is necessary or even traditional. Light jewelry is best, if you feel like wearing any at all. Perhaps a jade pendant attached to the waist sash, as a more traditional ornamental accessory.

Best wishes. Making a good hanfu itself is no easy task, so the hard part is over for you, really.

Thank you for the shoes link as well as the hair help too. The purse is just so i'll have something to hold my cash and phone, I just added in a secret pocket. I just hope the dress is right haha, thanks.

You don't have to cut your hair. Check these pics for hair style:
