I'm curious to find out how many people would seriously consider buying a game that is based on the end of the Han and Three Kingdoms that is done in table-top miniature style (akin to Warhammer or Flames of War). For most people, getting into the game would also mean buying the miniatures as it would be done in 15mm scale and how many people have 15mm Han Chinese armies?

Warhammer Ancient Battles (WAB) produced a supplement covering Ancient China, called The Art of War, which was intended for use with 28mm models. They recently went out of business earlier this year though, but I'm sure people still use the system, and I doubt it would be hard to find the rulebooks online. The Empires of the Dragon supplement for Fields of Glory would probably be the best bet now for anyone looking at Ancient Chinese miniature wargaming - especially since the rules can be adapted for any scale. Curtey's Miniatures are one of the only manufacturer specialising in Chinese miniatures to my knowledge and they produce 28mm figures. I've definitely seen 15mm manufacturers knocking about, but I can't remember them off the top of my head - I prefer 28mm anyway. Hope that helps anyone who's interested in this :)

Edit: Chariot Miniatures and Outpost Miniatures provide 15mm figures. I'll keep my eye out for other manufacturers and try and keep this updated.

Renegade Miniatures make 28mm Warring States miniatures.
Essex Miniatures make 25mm Tang/Five Dynasties and Khitan Liao miniatures.

Scheltrum Miniatures make 28mm Ming figures, perfect for gaming in the Imjin War period.

I'm not sure. I thought they did international delivery, but the website seem to be down at the moment. I'll have a look for some other distributors when I get some free time. Ah thanks for the heads up on Assault Group, I forgot they had an East Asian range!

Thanks,

Also, i think black hat miniatures has a 15mm Qin/Han series, and museum miniatures has a chariot Han series I think

I prefer 28mm-25mm, and 3d model studios had a nice 28mm three kingdoms line.
