If the pupil is brown, it means the particular person has minority people blood.
Any ideas ?

For the 'black eyes' I can see 'dark brown' under sufficient sunlight. The pupil has no color as it is transparent, however it is usually seen as black. The iris is the part of the eye that has color, however there is no such thing as a black iris, only dark shades of brown. If you have 'black' eyes you can look in the mirror and shine some light on your eye, you will see that it is brown.
However, there's a difference between "obvious brown" and "very dark (almost black) brown".
There's a kind of brown that doesn't need you to put a lot of light to see.

The answer to your question is: wrong. I see many Hongkong people with black iris, but the people up North have brown iris. In fact majority of Korean people have light brown eyes. Black iris are actually more common in South East Asia countries like Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Eye color inheritance is very complex. My two nephews of the same parents have different eye colors. One has quite black iris while the other has dark brown. When they grow up all will probably have dark brown iris.

In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color , what I thought to be "Light brown" is classified as "Amber" and "Hazel" instead.I see many Hongkong people with black iris, but the people up North have brown iris. In fact majority of Korean people have light brown eyes. Black iris are actually more common in South East Asia countries like Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam.
And the "brown" is just like what Southeast Asians have ("black").
I'm not sure how exactly light it is for "light brown eyes" in the quote above, as you take Korean and North Chinese as an example, as I should have easily noticed if it were "that light-colored".
