Hi,

I found this forum in an attempt to start searching highh and low for valuable, historical objects in China.
I am studying here and in the future i want to explore the rural China. I have limited knowledge of China, but i would like to know whether it is possible to set on a search for valuable objects for collecters in the untamed China. I will go on a search for information, but the vast history is not easy to grasp for an unfamiliar as me.

I would appreciate any inputs as to; useful books, webpages about collecting in general and about China. Which eras are good to focus on for things that will be possible to find among people in China? Are coins worth the while or is most in this catagory to well preserved already? Is there in value from the Mao era or do i have to search for objects back to the Qin or even former eras? Which areas of China is favoured for such search?

All inputs will be highly valued! How do you find this jurney?
