This is to inform you that Happyhistorian has decided to resign from Chief Editor position, due to too much work. Tjoa will take over his position to become the new Chief Editor for CHF Editorial Board.

One should seek serenity to cultivate the body, thriftiness to cultivate the morals. If you are not simple and frugal, your ambition will not sparkle. If you are not calm and cool, you will not reach far. - Zhugeliang

I am honored to serve as the new Editor and look to you all for ideas and articles. Also if you are able to do newsletter design, graphics, whatever, please get in touch with me. I think the best example for what I would like to achieve is the February issue this year of the Han Lin Journal. The next issue is scheduled for the end of August and I hope to hear from potential authors as soon as possible!
By the way, I have added an avatar to my profile from the many that comes with CHF: it is of Liu Biao who is said in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms to have been one of the "Eight Talents of Jingzhou" and recognized by some scholars as having built up a pool of administrative talent in that province, a talent pool from which Cao Cao as well as the Kingdom of Wu helped themselves. This too is what I hope to do for the HLJ over the next two years.
Cheers,
Tjoa

It has been an honour to serve CHF in my three years with the editorial board. I hope you have enjoyed reading the CHF Newsletter and Han Lin Journal. I have decided to resign from my previous position as Chief Editor, because my life is getting busier and I am interested in pursuing other things in my life. I'm confident Tjoa will perform his role as Chief Editor with dilligence. Thank you to CHF members for supporting CHF publications and I would like to especially thank members of the editorial board for their commitment and support.
Take care Happy Historian!!!
