Hi, I am just curious about my ethnicity. Both of my parents are very sure that
they are chinese han. And I know that (via wikipedia) the Han ethnicity is also
very diverse. But I am at the point in life where I notice that I look differently
from other "Hans." I, for one, am very light-skinned(been so the day I was born).
I also have curly hair that gives off the wavy appearance due its thickness(maybe
puberty, but 2 out of 4 grandparents have/had wavy or curly hair). I
believe I have a sort of a mongoloid feature; protruding forehead or my eyes are
a bit "pushed back in." My eyes aren't slanty but I am single "lided". Its weird
because my mother
has like a triple/quadruple eye lid fold(no, she's not old) while my father has
an incomplete fold. My father also has a cleft chin(eww). So I've come to the conclusion
of my looking differently from most hans (including my parents) is due to the
difference in the environments between where my parents and I grew up in. Like, environmental
factors activated certain phenotypical traits?!?

Anyways, I wanted some professional ;) opinion- What do you think my ethnicity
is composed off. I am looking for answers like ethnic tribes or countries of origin.
any comments are welcome, I am just very curious. Also, I apologize in advance
for any possible "ignorant" comments that regards the typical Asian feature?

Where did they come from? Please put this in detail if you'd like.

Cultural revolution.
