I am interested in making infographic on Chinese Language origin. My idea was something like this sketch I came up with, borrowed the original chart1.

I am trying to figure out which dialect appear in which era (early Chinese, middle Chinese, late Chinese) and in which dynasty.

There are few things I can't recognize: Jiao Zhou, Qin Jin, Guang Dong Yu, Shu Yu, Guan Zhong Yu, Zhong Yuan Yu. I don't know which hanzi for them, I assume "yu" is supposed to be 語. So, I need help translating those words into hanzi.

Can anyone tell me why some dialects (Chu, Yue, Bei) appear more than three or four times in that chart?

Hope you can help me creating infographic. Many thanks!
