Good evening everyone!

My name is Aena and I'm writing from Greece.
While trying to find an answer to a question I've found this forum which seems rather interesting.

Here is my question, I want to know how to write the term "WUJI" in Chinese Calligraphy.
By saying that I mean the state of Wuji just before starting Taiji.

I've found in the net, two very different calligraphies and that's confused me...

Thank you in advance for your kind assistance

Hello Aena :) I'm not an expert on calligraphy or Chinese writing, and I could be way off the mark here, but I think you might be confused by the traditional and simplified characters for the term. The traditional is:

無極

and the simplified is

无极. Are these the characters you're referring to? Simplified Chinese was introduced in the 1950's, generally to make learning the language easier. Both are correct, though I'd tentatively suggest using the traditional script instead of the simplified one

.

Hello f0ma and thank you for your help :-)

My confusion is between the traditional characters and an another calligraphy found on the web here

Frankly, traditional characters are my favourites too
