Hello everyone! I stumbled across this site, and thought maybe one of you could offer some help?

I've searched all over for a Chinese version of the Red String of Fate myth/folktale, and haven't had any luck. If one of you could translate it for me, that would be wonderful! It's not for a project or anything - I just want to make a wallpaper for my desktop using it. ^_^

I took one semester of Chinese in high school, but obviously that's not enough study to help me translate this piece. Here's the English, so you don't have to look it up:

"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstance.
The thread may stretch or tangle,
but it will never break."
