Hi, I have been wondering for a while if in Chinese mythology the colours of the dragons mean anything? Like if in a painting there is a yellow dragon does that mean something different than if it was a red dragon? I have gotten mixed answers about this when I have looked. Hope that someone can help.

Thanks

I know that colours can symbolize different things in Chinese culture, perhaps they could apply to dragon depictions. I'm only hazarding a guess though. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you a more thorough answer in time.
