Hi all. I'm having trouble with some Chinese writing, and I was hoping someone could help me.

First is a sign in a historical photo of San Francisco's Chinatown.

The description says, Chinese forrtuneteller, 1880. But I can't figure out what the sign says. The middle character seems to be 丁, or small. The horizontal writing seems to be in bolder paint than the vertical writing.

I can't read the first one but the second one reads Daliancheng (大连城), which means the town of Dalian.
