'Biographical Dictionary of Chinese Women: Antiquity Through Sui, 1600 B.C.E.-618 C.E.' (2007) by Lily Xiao Hong Lee and A. D. Stefanowska contains a biography of Lady Guo (I'll call her this to avoid confusing her with Guo Huai 郭淮). There's also an old thread here which I stumbled across, talking about her daughter Jia Wu. Timothy Davis wrote a paper about Lady Guo a few years ago - I'll email him and see if he wouldn't mind sharing it.

I take it that Huai is a unisexual name... When you asked that question, I thought of the General Guo Huai instead of Jia Chong's wife. LOL

I research stuff I like, I enjoy it as a hobby but one day I plan to get a master's degree in something I enjoy a lot.
