I've got a set in my office. Part of the deco for my waterfountain-feng-shui-thingy.
(a bit strange, someone once remarked for a feng-shui-thingy since they are originally funeral objects).

Hahahaha! Frankly I'd love to see that happen. I'd film it and make a fortune! Or better still, bring them on a roadshow tour and charge money for people to see animated pottery funeral figures. I'd be rich in no time and don't have to spend all this time working my a** off with no time to spend playing and chatting.... errr....
Nice to know another dreamer

Naturally I already brought in many boxes of that.
Correction, I just realise my figures are different, they are from Orion, which are much better. Will post pictures soon.

Were their shields really that small?
That was the standard size and shape for infantry shields in both the Warring States and Western Han, based on archaeological finds (including actual shields and tomb figurines). In the Age of Fragmentation, infantry shields became much larger.
As far as I know, no Qin shields have been found. There were none with the terracotta army.

I used to play a figurine game called Heroclix & had a horribly painted Electra, so we dubbed her manlectra.
Also after a while don't the swords (on all figure) or spears droop?

Hmm, why would they?
If you are referring to the metal figures, well they more or less stay that way unless you accidentally bend them.
For the plastics they stay that way unless you accidentally left them out in a place where its cooking hot.

Yup, very nice figures, I actually like the zombie warriors. Hmm... maybe I can do a conversion one of these days...
Just in case some folks are unfamiliar, figures do not come painted. You have to slop on the paint yourself.

They slowly start to droop over time, have other figures that have pretty thick swords (pointing vertically) and they look like they need viagra.
I leave these plastic figures in a cold moldy box.
Ur how many different sets of figures do you have?

That's because those figures are made from Vinyl. Most plastic soldiers are made from polyethlene, some from Polystyrene (PE and PS respectively for technical folks out there). So they don't droop.
Vinyl is used for those mass-produced ones because its cheaper more so in tooling rather than material cost.
I have lots of different sets, I will get to updating my Yahoo auctions been too busy lately.
