In general, your post rank will increase (be promoted) with the number of posts you made in CHF. Thus, the more active you participate and post in CHF, your rank will increase. It's a reflection of how active you are in CHF. However, do not spam just to increase post count. We favour quality of posts to quantity of posts. All spams are deleted without warning by staffs and you might even be penalized if you spam.

If your post reaches above 2500, you may request a custom title from us. This custom title is to be decided by you. Simply PM an administrator to request a change of custom title if your post reaches above 2500.

Interesting to know so many rankings..it will take quite a long time to each the top.. but I guess, by participating in the discussion, one will gradually become a chinese history expert.. :P :P

This community is considered a subsidiary of SMQ, so all systems are almost alike. Just that we have a focus on chinese history.. :lol:

Well. for forummers. if members want custom title.. I think, we can hold an award or contest in the future, just like in SoSZ.

For Staffs, we will automatically add the custom title "CHF Staff"..or if you have better suggestion, let me know.

I am too SOSZ has a contest where members decide how deserves a custiom tittle then the votes are tallied for each month. A while back we were talking about such a contest so you'll just have to wait for a while.

The only way a member will recieve a custiom tittle is by winning the "grand historian of the month" award.

just a suggestion:
have ranks named after "9 pin"(9品), general(将军) or nobility(子,公,王).
i don't think number of post reflect a member's knowledge anyway.
there are many people who knows alot, but don't have higher ranks due to post number.
灭六国者, 六国也, 非秦国也。族秦者,秦也,非天下也。

roughtly translated...

the six states destroyed the six states, not qin.
qin ruled qin, not the whole country.
