writing (China's Nostradamus). They were Jiang Tai Kung of Zhou Dynasty,
Zhuge Liang of Han's San Kuo, Liu Bo En of Ming Dynasty and some others I
could not remember. Same as Nostradamus, their writings were crypted also.
My dad pointed one article (drawing) depicting a lady holding a pipa
(guitar). I think it said something like this: mei ren dung lai bao pi pa -
a beautiful woman comes to the East holding a pipa. My dad explained that
it was referring to US protecting Taiwan. At that time, the US 7th fleet
was coursing along the Taiwan strait protecting Taiwan. Also another
writing said that China will be ruled by people wearing "tian zhuang" -
heavenly dress. If you separate tian - it becomes gung ren - worker,
referring to the Communists. It is a very interesting article. Has anyone
seen those writing and share your knowledge?

of course, those pictures are nonsense. different people have different ways to interpret the meaning of those pictures.

qin ruled qin, not the whole country.

It is hard to say if they are non-sense. While it is a drawing, it is a "crypted" drawing. Looking at the attached thread, some of the drawings did really reflect the historical situation in Chinese history. I remember there was a "sao bing ke" ( Chinese Pancake tale?) by Liu Bo En. In that article Zhu Yuan Zhang asked Liu how long will the Ming dynasty last. Liu answered Ming will last for "ten thousand sons and grandsons generation" - wan zi wan sun. It turned out the last Ming emperor, Zhung Zheng was the grandson of Ming emperor Wan Li. Meaning Ming will last till the son of "Wan" Li and grandson of "Wan" Li.i think it's called tui bei tu(推背图 push back picture). the legend is during tang dynasty, li chunfeng who was a mage/sage draw many pictures about the future. another mage/sage pushed his back and told him that the secrets of heaven can't be released(天机不可泄漏). li chunfeng stoped right there. there are many versions of those pictures, one of them has 60 pictures, another one has 67 pictures.

That and the fact that it seems like everyone across the whole world who supposedly "predict the future" tend to describe the future in a very crypted way. This can be explained by two theories:Yes, it's all about interpretation.
1.) The future isn't 100% certain as it hasn't occured yet therefore any "vision" of the future wouldn't be clear.
2.) It's difficult for people to grasp futuristic concepts (which is why all sci-fi movies/TV series look fake after a certain amount of time) therefore they can only describe it as best as they can.
"You can believe in any god, as long as it's our God."
