I have been wanting to do this for a while.
How the hell do I draw?
Well, I don't have models.
And by now I have kinda memorized the armor patterns etc of the Zhanguo era.
So here is a series of WIP...
aka Work in Progress.
The first panel shows a quick sketch.
You have to be rather familiar with shape and form to begin with.
For me I was drawing stick figures at grade 7 (sec1).
Crappy people at grade 8.
Less crappy people and less impossible moves at grade 9.
Dwarves and many fanatasy creatures at grade 10.
And so on.
An art lesson proved pretty useful in my second year in college.
At least I knew how to draw hands now. The model I worked from is my own hands.
Once you have drawn like...5000 hands you'd be pretty tight and need not look at your own hand anymore.
Not for me though...I have yet to reach 1000...
In this first panel I started off by drawing quick outlines.
I tried to feel the movement of the people.
I was doing a lot of the actions these people were doing while drawing.
Like aiming the crossbow, etc.
My preferred media is always a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil.
I know I have to diversify, but hey, I am a bloody amateur.
