I heard another favourite place to migrate were the New Zealand.

If you were given the opportunities to become Chinese Citizen by the PRC would u be happy and apply for it ?

New Zealand is indeed a very attractive place. I had once almost made it to the New Zealand's shore... unfortunately... that is another story. I remember meeting the Chinese Catholic community in Christchurch and many of them actually came from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and HongKong. Interesting group of people, some are retirees.

As for being given a Chinese Citizenship - unlikely that I would apply for it. I am still pretty happy being a Singaporean and will remain for sometime... unless something happen drastically to alter the present state... i.e. a nuclear bomb on the island of Singapore. :P Come to think if it, I may never even survive it.

Yeah, NZ is another interesting place for migration apart from Australia, US, Canada or UK.

Regarding about Chinese Citizenship, in the forseeable future, don't think PRC would be kind enough to give it to overseas Chinese. Many people would consider before applying for it.
