I've always had a thing for history and primarily Central Asian history since my dad is of Mongolian heritage. Of course, I'm a Chinese national so I was also interested in learning about Chinese history. I was a bit hesitant at first because there is literally millions of things to learn about Chinese history. But I was going to start learning sooner or later so why not now?
My second motive was that I have some Manchurian royalty blood in the family and the fact that my family is a big mix of Korean, Han Chinese, Mongolian, and Russian and Hui. Being from a diverse family made me very interested in Chinese history.

I wanted to figure out what the Cantonese were, my mum told me that toiison people are loud and punch panda's in the eye, that's why they have black eyes. (Dad's family is from toiison).

dunnno was just very aware of my identity as a chinese. i was also immersely interested in knowing about the lives of overseas chinese and also on chinese history and culture no literature please....
i just finish reciting Wu Yue Ci Meng Ji, Lan Yu Cong Shu and Yu Bang Xiang Zhen...so sianz i got 4 mroe to go...
