Over the past few weeks, there have been concern by a number of members over certain 'political sensitive' topics in China Current Affairs Forum such as TI (Taiwan independence), Separatism (independence of Tibet, Inner Mongolia and Uighur) etc.

Some members commented that staffs are not exercising controls over these topics, fearing that China Current Affairs forum might become the breeding ground for Separatist movement.

I wish to say, this will not be the case, since CHF tolerates a wide range of view, with a fair amount of openness. However, we have also set certain ground rules that you will have to follow if you're to participate in certain political debate.

The rules ensure that the forum remains friendly to all who wish to participate, while making sure that this forum does not become the breeding/promotion grounds for extremist ideology. It also makes sure that this site does not get "banned" by China (PRC).

"夫君子之行:靜以修身,儉以養德;非淡泊無以明志,非寧靜無以致遠。" - 諸葛亮

One should seek serenity to cultivate the body, thriftiness to cultivate the morals. If you are not simple and frugal, your ambition will not sparkle. If you are not calm and cool, you will not reach far. - Zhugeliang
