I remeber when I was a kid (meaning like 5 or 6) I heard people talk about Chinese water torture, but then when I grew up I never heard anything about it again. Does anyone one have any good information of Chinese Water torture? And please give time periods if possible.

Actually the more I think about it, the less I believe it, I remeber reading the Art of War and it stating that there are 5 levels of physical punishment:
1. Your face would be tatooed with the word "Crimnal"
2. Cut off your nose
3. Cut off your feet
4. Castrated (losing your reproductive organs)
5. Death
I assume whipping is like number 1/2 or somthing cause I know that, happened, but I am begining to believe less in less that water tourture happened and if it did nothing that is tradional in Chinese History.

i don't believe water torture is real. there is no way you can kill someone with water. water can go through stones, but only after hundreds or thousands of years.
灭六国者, 六国也, 非秦国也。族秦者,秦也,非天下也。
roughtly translated...
the six states destroyed the six states, not qin.
qin ruled qin, not the whole country.

drowning is different from water tourture, the story i heard is they pour drops of water on a person's head, and the water drops will go through the victim's head

Which suggests one thing - that "Chinese water torture" is just a myth that has been much embellished in the retelling. I myself have never read about such a kind of torture in Chinese historical records.
The dead have passed beyond our power to honour or dishonour them, but not beyond our ability to try and understand.
