Hi all, I am doing some research on China-Japanese relations in the past, and need a list of all the wars China fought with the Japanese.
Here's what I have so far,
Wokou
Seven Years' War
First Sino-Japanese War
Second Sino-Japanese War
I'm pretty sure there's more, between the Seven Years' War and the 1st Sino-Japanese War. Could anyone provide a definitive list of other wars the 2 countries fought?

All characters and events in the above post -- even those based on real people -- are entirely fictional, and as such, should not be taken seriously, except in a fictional way. All facts are fabricated... poorly. This post contains extreme neo-contraantidisestablishmentarian political ideas and due to its contents it should not be viewed by anyone. The author is not responsible for any emotional stress, physical harm, international tensions or global thermonuclear war that may result from viewing this post.

There was some naval war between Tang and Nippon along the coasts of Korea, some 2000 Japanese ships was defeated by a Tang navy of some 100 ships and ended with Japan agreed to become a Tang vassal. Though I don't konw if this counts as official war since Japan was at twilight of its history during this period.
Woko was Japanese/Korean/Chinese pirates operating independently of their government, they might have considerable support from southern Japan fedual daimyos but it does not meant actual war between China and Japan.

Not really China vs Japan, but Japanese Imperial forces took part in the expedition of foreign powers against the Boxer Rebellion.
