Links to online Chinese Literature Classics and Culture

China, due to its long history, has accumulated countless of chinese classics and literature from ancient times to today. These literature are in areas of history, art, literary (language), poetry, novels, military, medical etc.

For those who have interests in reading them, you can now read them online for free. All chinese classics are written in 'classical chinese' language (文言文). This might be difficult to read, even for native chinese who uses modern chinese language (白话文). 国学

"国学" is the Chinese counterpart to "sinology". This site's sources include major classics in many fields, vast collection of poetry, news about the latest research process, introduction to personages, etc. Full membership is not free, however, it will not disappoint even a casual browser.

中国诗词网

Unlike the above one, this site focuses on poetry, boasting to have the largest online collection of Chinese poetry, of today and of old. It also has introductions to major classics in literature, which could be very helpful as a reading guide.
The road to hell is always paved with good wishes.

mmm, I think you should update this topic, at least adding Amicina ( http://www.amicina.com )
I found that site for case, 1 month ago, and now I decided to promote it. Not for money or else. Just because it's something new and improving each day.
I think that a China-lover as me hasn't a better way to say thanks, than let other know.
Anyway, it is so big that it would be hard to describe in few words.
This long link is to the english version of the homepage: http://www.amicina.c...dex.php?lang=en
