This Cardinal presumes that many of you are followers of Sun Zi's AoW. (Will presume your multi-copies of Sun Zi AoW are placed next to your bed table)
( Will also presume some of you can organized an army of lethal force with a few clicks on your keyboard. )
What other strategy classics have you read? Also, what have you learned from them?
Hi Cardinal,
I'm surprised nobody contributed to this thread yet. As you know, I'm a follower of Sun Zi's Art of War. I've been studying and testing (where I can) 11 different classics. Sun Zi's Art of War being the longest; 9 years now.
I use the Sun Zi's Art of War as a primary base for assessment, leadership, strategy, and tactical movement in business.
Two classics that stick out for me these days:
The Methods of Ssu-ma - I find this text to be very strong in the lines of foundation/structure and order. Great for unifying your team under a big picture.
Master of Ghost Valley - Kuei Ku Tzu - I find this text really strengthens one's ability to understand the psychology of individuals as well as to move in accordance to such knowledge auspiciously. Moral law should be in place before practicing these principles.
That's all I have for now; I will be more than happy to comment on other text I've read and haven't mentioned if asked.
Cheers
