It's very honest and in-your-face. Very realistic and refreshing. A picture speaks a thousand words, and there were quite a few pictures on that page smile.gif

Indeed, it appears that ordinary life in India and China is pretty similar once you peek behind the glitzy photospreads.

I found these two pictures hilarious:

These photos are GREAT! I had to send the one of the first body building competition in Yunnan to my friend who is also a female body builder. biggrin.gif

I agree with Zuo Zongtang... those with the shocked looks on the gentlemen's faces made me chuckle, too! I also liked the card game where the losers had to put concrete blocks on their heads... I'd like to do that to a couple of my co-workers...heh heh... YOU LOSE! laugh.gif

Nothing less than incredible. Very professional work with these photos, excellent. Some of these scenes definitely bring things to life, some make you smile, and others spread a little tragedy.

Thanks for sharing DaMo.

My god, did those photos depress me! Very honest and bleak in the black/white style of the photos.

Who took these photos? They're very good,I like them. They seem quite professional. smile.gif

Some of these photographs (I believe) were taken at least 10 years ago, somewhat during the 80s-90s China, and was a reflection of much depression at that time...lots of bicycles..1st model show etc. I believe these photographs are valuable

The way mainland chinese dressed has changed alot since 2000s and today, cars instead of bicycles are seen.
