The taolu of modern wushu looks good but it's less than practical. I think it's all about giving a performance than practical self defence.

modern taolu, especially developed by wushu academy are kinds of show!
it has different goals comparing with traddtional taolu.

But I honestly think that Modern Taolu is a waste. You have some people who practice it and don't understand that their skills are a little less practical on the street
