I think I read from somewhere that when a baby prince or princess is born, he/she will be taken away from his/her mother and given to a nanny to take care of and his/her mother seldom will have the chance to see her baby like maybe get to see once or twice a year only..

And when he/she grow up, each of them wll have a imperial tutor to teach him/her..

Does anyone here have more information about how baby princes and princess are treated..
fireball
Do you mean the Qing dynasty prince and princess? Every dynasty had different ways of treating their royalties.

Dear fireice,

I think you mean the Qing Dynasty because in the Qing Dynasty, baby princes and princesses were treated this way, if I'm not wrong.
