Perhaps there should be a stickied topic that shows a picture & description of Chinese armors from the 5th century BCE Zhou Dynasty period to the 19th century Qing Dynasty period. It would be a compiling of the info we currently have on the forums into an easily accessible topic.

...?

Good idea Intranetusa,
I'm not sure what you mean by 'sticked '.
But I think the idea to have pictures and description of the armors as well as the clothing. It would be a great help to researchers.

I have at least three books in this area, and I had asked XL5 to help me taking pictures of the pictures so that I could post them. Btw, to my horrors, these books rarely talk about materials they used in those clothings, and it drives me crazy!!! ranting.gif

I have collected a good assortment of pictures of the uniforms from the Boxer Rebellion./Late Qing

excellent. We can begin by compiling all the info/pictures in one topic, and then sort & organize them later into a coherent "sticky" (permanent topic bulletin). =)
