Full Version: Are schools using CHF threads for their classes

I was just looking at what topics were being viewed and I noticed that almost half the topics were all the same.
This made me wonder if schools are using the CHF as a tool for teaching.

I have noticed this before but never to the extent that I thought it might be a full class.

Any thoughts on this?

I personally doubt it.

Though we have people like Yun here, and CHF is a good place to start off, the hard truth of the matter is that since CHF's content is really up to the poster, it would never be accepted as a source in school projects. Any citations would not have to come from CHF, but rather what sources referred to by the posters.

However, CHF should be excellent for basic history and culture, the things that are fairly common knowledge and need no citation.

I wonder then why when you go look at who is viewing what threads, with the thousands of different threads here on the forum, why would so many guests be looking at the same one. I have to think that some sort of group, club or class room was told to check it out as a study tool or as a source of useful information.
