I noticed that Thomas Chen's website has a picture showing some Han dynasty 2-handed steel swords here:

Does anyone know some exact specifications of typical 2handed steel swords of the period, like weight and length? It would be interesting to compare these with European longswords of the 15th century...

Thanks!

Hello LaoZhou,

In my opinion, the best person to ask on ancient swords like this would be our member Kenneth. However, I have not seen him on for a while...but you can drop him a PM and see if he picks up. He's very knowledgeable in this kind of thing.
