In my opinion, this thread is distinct from the other one on several counts. The other one is on American museums with Chinese collections, whereas this one is on Chinese museums. Also, unlike the other thread, this one does not just provide info about museums: it presents collections of pictures that have their own integrity as collections. Finally, I think that merging the two under a single title would obscure the value of one of the two threads for no good reason. This is why, in my view, they deserve to remain separate. rolleyes.gif

I had forgotten that there was that distinction, I was just thinking in terms of a comprehensive list of museums. Yes, maybe they should stay seperate and change my comment to agree with you, it might be a good idea to pin this thread.
